Dolby
3 stereo
mode
actively
decodes
Dolby*
surround
encoded
audio
to provide
left, right,
and
center
channel
sound.
The center
channel
makes
the actor's
voice
appear
to come
from
the TV screen
regardless
of where
you are sitting
in the room.
To hear Dolby3
stereo,
you must
attach
right
and
left front
speakers
to the EXTERNAL
speaker
terminals
on the back
of the TV.
1. Press MENU to bring up the main menu.
2. Highlight
Audio using the up and down buttons
on the remote.
Press 8 to select audio.
3. Highlight
Mode using the up and down buttons
on the remote.
Press 8 to select Mode.
4. Use the arrow keys to select Dolby3 Prologic.
5. Use the information
below to set Dolby3 Prologic to your personal
preference.
Set up Dolby3
Prologic.
1. Press MENU to bring up the main menu.
2. Highlight
Audio using the up and down buttons
on the remote.
Press 8 to select audio.
3. Highlight
Setup using the up and down buttons
on the remote.
Press 8 to select Setup.
4. Use the menu buttons
shown on the screen to select and adjust the Dolby3
Prologic setup.
Internal
Speakers:
Turn oil to hear sound through
the TV's built-in
speakers.
Exl:ernal Speakers:
Turn on to hear the sound from the speakers
connected
to
the EXTERNAL
speaker
terminals
on the back of the TV.
Volume:
Set to your personal
preference.
Use right and left arrows
to increase
or decrease
the volume.
B&ance:
Adjust the left/right
balance
until the sound seems to
originate
from a point halfway between
the speakers.
Center Volume:
Adjust to your personal
preference
to hear the sound from
the center speaker.
Noise Sequencer:
Turn on to individually
adjust each speaker
channel
(left,
right, and center) one at a time.
This allows you to check
and adjust the volume
level and balance
to each channel
as well as check to see if all the speakers
are working
correctly.
