Watching
PIP (Picture.in.Picture)
Picture-in-Picture
allows you to display a small picture within the main
picture of the TV screen.
PIP can be used when watching
the Cinema
mode or standard
4x3 broadcasts.
Because you have two tuners, you
do not need to connect another
video source to watch PIP (picture -in-
picture).
The first time you press PIP, a small picture appears
on the
screen along with the main picture.
Standard
4x3 Format
with
Picture-in-PictuJ_e
Turn
on Picture-in-Picture.
A. Press "IV to set the remote to control the TV.
B. Press PiP to turn on picture-in-picture.
Change
channels
in PIP
Press CHANNEL • and • or use the number
buttons
to change
channels
on the main picture..
Press ADJUST to change channels
on the small picture.

The second time you press PiP, the PIP Controls
menu appears
on the
screen. Use the PIP Controls menu items shown below to adjust
PIP.
l/Swap:
Switches the small and the main picture.
Works the same as SWAP on
the remote.
2/PIll ) Off:
Removes
the small picture and the menu from the screen.
3/EXIT:
Removes
the menu from the screen.
4/SIZE:
Adjusts the size of the small picture.
5/CORNER:
Moves the small picture from corner to corner.
6/CHAN
up:
Raises the channel of the small picture..
7/FR EEZE:
Stops; action in the small picture.
Works the same as the FRZ button.
8/H E!ADPHONE:
Switches the headphone
sound between
the main and small picture.
9/CHAN
down::
Lowers the channel number
for the small picture.
0/MOVE:
Brings up the Move Controls
menu that allows you t:oadjust the size of
the small picture and move it around
the screen.
Shown at the right.
Turn
off
PiP
A. With PiP on the screen, press PiP to bring up PIP Controls menu.
B. Press 2 to turn PIP off and remove the on-screen
menu.
