so your TV will automatically
produce
cleaner
dialog
and
better
stereo
imaging
when
stereo
is beoadcast.
1. Press MENU to bring up main menu.
2. Highlight
Audio using tile up and down buttons
on the remote.
Press 8 to select audio.
3. Highlight
Mode using the up and down buttons
on the remote.
Press 8 to select Mode.
4. Use the arrow keys to select Phantom
Prologic Surround
Sound.
5. Use the information
below to set Phantom
Prologic to your personal
preference.
Set
up Phantom
Prologic.
1. Press MENU to bring up the main menu.
2. Highlight
Audio using the up and down buttons
on the remote.
Press 8 to select audio.
3. Highlight
Set:up using the up and down buttons
on the remote.
Press 8 to select Setup.
4. Use the menu buttons
shown on the screen to select and adjust the
Phantom
Prologic
setup.
Speakers:
Vclume:
Balance:
Rear Speakers:
Rear Volume:
Input Balance:
Noise Sequencer:
Select Internal to listen to the TV's built-in
speakers.
Select
External if you have connected
external
speakers
to the
EXTERNAL speaker
terminals
on the back of the TV.
Set to your personal
preference.
Use right and left arrows to
increase
or decrease
the volume.
Adjust the left!fight
balance
until the sound seems to
originate
from a point halfway
between the speakers.
Set rear speakers
to On to hear sound from the rear
surround
speaker(s).
Set to your personal
preference.
Use right and left arrows to
increase
or decrease
the volume of the rear speakers.
Used to balance
the left and right audio signals coming into
the set for the best surround
sound performance.
Most of
the time you will want to leave this at mid scale. If the
sound
coming from your surround
sound speaker(s)
has a
lot of voices, you may want to adjust this display to mini-
mize the voices.
Stop at the point where voices are minimal
in the surround
speaker(s).
Turn on to individually
adjust each speaker
channel
(left,
right, and center) one at a time. This allows you to check
and adjust the volume level and balance to each channel as
well as check to see if all the speakers
are working
correctly.
