Cooling fan
runs during
BAKE, BROIL,
or CLEAN
The convection
fan does not
run all the time
The control
knob(s) will not
turn
The Self-
Cleaning cycle

POSSIBLE CAUSE
WHAT TO DO
It is normal for all four
burners to spark when:
--A burner is turned on, but
has not yet ignited.
--There
is a draft blowing on
burners.
--A very large pot on burner
causes flame to be unstable.
No action is needed. Burner
operation is not affected and the
sparking should end when the
ignited flame is burning undisturbed.
Continuous sparking may be
caused when:
--A spillover has wet ignition
switch contacts.
--There
is a faulty spark
module.
--The wall outlet wiring is
incorrect.
It is normal for the fan to
automatically
run while the
oven is in use to cool the
electronic control.
Turn on one or two burners or
disconnect electrical supply to let
switch dry out.
Contact service technician to
replace module.
Contact a qualified electrician to cor-
rect wiring, if needed.
It is normal for the convec-
tion fan to cycle on and off
during the CONVECTION
BROIL mode. The timer dis-
play shows the fan running
continuously.
You are not pushing in
before turning.
No action is needed.
Push control knob(s)in
before
turning to a setting.
You have programmed a
delayed start time.
The cooling fan is not
running. If fan is running, you
can hear it.
Wait for the start time to be reached,
or cancel and reset the control.
Call a service technician to repair.
