Director Status Table
Text Meaning
Redundant Failure A redundant component has failed,
such as a power supply, and the
backup component has taken over
operation.
Minor Failure A failure occurred which has
decreased the director operational
ability. Normal switching operations
are not affected.
One or more FPM cards failed, but
at least one FPM card is still
operational.
A fan has failed or is not rotating
sufficiently.
One of two CTP cards failed.
One of two SBAR cards failed.
NOT OPERATIONAL A critical failure prevents the
director from performing
fundamental switching operations.
Never Connected Director status is unknown. This
Link Timeout occurs if the Ethernet network
Protocol Mismatch connection between the HP EFC
Duplicate Session Server and the director cannot be
Unknown Network established or if the CTP fails.
