9.3 Clearance of the Flap Clamps to the Slider Plate

In order for the flap nippers (feed devices) to be able to swing in and
out unimpaired, the clearance of the flap clamps to the cloth slider
plate should be 40 mm.

Turn the main switch off.
Set the flap clamps only with the main switch turned off.

Loosen screw 6.
–
Set stop 7.
The clearance of the flap clamps to the cloth slider plate should be
40 mm.
–
Tighten screw 6 again.
