4.2.1 Cover Side,E

1. Remove the upper Paper Cassette.
2. Tilt back the Duplex Vertical Unit, if the optional Duplex Unit is
installed.
3. Press the release button and open the Cover Exit,E.
4. Remove the two screws (1) that are located at the rear of the Cover
Side,E.
5. Release the hook on the interior surface of the top side of the Cover
Side by pulling the edge of the top side (2) up, and then pull the
Cover Side away from the printer.
6. Release a latch that is located on the interior surface of the top side
of the Cover Side by pulling the bottom part of the front side to the
front and then to the left (toward you) (3).
7. Pull the Cover Side off of the printer (4).
