Setting Up the System

Modifying the Date and Time

To modify the date and time settings using the Web-based user interface:

On a Linux system, this information can only be modified using the CLI.
1. Click the Enclosure tab.
2. Click Enclosure Information in the left panel.
3. Scroll down to the Date and Time area.
4. Select the proper time zone from the pull-down list.
5. Click the Date or Time field.
6. Type the date or time.
7. Click Apply.
To modify the date and time settings using the CLI, type:
SET DATE MMDDhhmm{{CC}YY} {TZ}
where:

MM: month
■
DD: day
■
hh: hour (24-hour time, an integer from 0-23)
■
mm: minute
■
CC: century
■
YY: year
■
TZ: timezone

If the time zone is left blank, the current time zone is left in effect. For a list of supported time
zones, see Appendix F, "Time Zone Settings."
