Cabinet Messages

The message areas on the Cabinet View display the following types of
messages:
Message Type
Incomplete
Data Warning
Highlight
Message
Circuit Pack
Message
Cached Data
Warning

Circuit Pack Information

The Circuit Pack Information screen displays data for a circuit pack and lists the
ports. This screen has the following components:
Menu Bar for Circuit Pack Information
Data Area for Circuit Pack Information
Circuit Pack Hotspots

How to Open Circuit Pack Information

To open the Circuit Pack Information screen:
1. Display the Cabinet View.
2. Click on a slot in the cabinet's graphic display area.

This warning message displays only if

you clicked on a cabinet hotspot on the
information.
Switch View before Fault Management
retrieved all the information about
circuit packs. The message disappears
once Fault Management completes
data retrieval.

describes the last highlighting selection
information.

A warning message only displays when

can result in this warning:
Fault Management cannot
complete a refresh attempt
The Refresh Proxy Agent On
Startup field on the Setup screen is
set to FALSE
