5.15 Clear CMOS Jumper
CAUTION
Do not move any jumpers with the power on. Always turn off the power and unplug the power
cord from the computer before changing a jumper setting. Otherwise, the board could be
damaged.
This 3-pin jumper block allows the user to clear CMOS. Table 38 describes the jumper settings
for the two modes: normal and clear CMOS. When the jumper is set to Clear CMOS mode and
the computer is powered-up, the contents of the CMOS are cleared.
