IPv6 configuration
The switch supports IPv6, which includes the following:
•
Network discovery method
•
IP address
•
IP gateway address
The network discovery method determines how the switch acquires its IP address. The IP address can come
from the IP address (static) that resides on the switch or from a DHCP server; or it can be learned from
a router through the Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP). To configure the IPv6 parameters, enter the
set setup system ipv6 command:
8/20q FC Switch (admin) #> set setup system ipv6
A list of attributes with formatting and current values will follow.
Enter a new value or simply press the ENTER key to accept the current value.
If you wish to terminate this process before reaching the end of the list
press 'q' or 'Q' and the ENTER key to do so.
