6. Slide the power supply away from the side of the chassis and lift up to remove.

PCI riser card

To remove the PCI riser card:
Note: Read"Safety information" on page 147 and "Before you begin" on page 45.
1. Power off the server/workstation.
2. Remove the cover. See "Removing the cover" on page 48.
3. Remove any adapters and put them in a safe place.
4. Disconnect cables.
5. Gently lift up on the card to disconnect it from the system board port.

System board

To remove the system board:
Note: Read"Safety information" on page 147 and "Before you begin" on page 45.
1. Power off the server/workstation.
2. Remove the cover. See "Removing the cover" on page 48.
3. Disconnect all cables from the system board.
4. Remove the adapter retaining latch (see "Removing a microprocessor" on

6. Remove the memory modules. See "Installing memory modules" on page 85.
7. Remove screws from the system board.
8. Remove the four screws from the rear of the server/workstation.
9. Pull up on the system board to remove from the chassis.
