  • Page 2 Remember to take care when unpacking. Please keep your workspace clean, clear and tidy when working. This will help keep all items safe from any damages. Any waste cardboard or plastic should be flattened down and placed in the bin. A minimum of two people will be needed to lift the unit.
  • Page 3 Fixing the leg bases Secure each of the leg brackets into place with 4x15mm screws per bracket. Inserting the legs Push each leg firmly down into the leg bracket. Adjusting each leg to 165mm. Adjust the legs to the correct height by turning clockwise or anti-clockwise.
  • Page 4 Notching out the side panels (when required) In order to allow for any horizontal pipework or wiring running behind the unit, some units will require the back of unit’s side to be notched out. Create a notch for the horizontal pipes at the back of the end panels using a jigsaw.
  • Page 5 Attaching the unit tower to the wall (back rails) Drill through the rail into the wall to create a pilot holes. Place wall plugs into the wall and insert screw into the hole and tighten. The installation manual should be checked to determine the fridge’s position within the tower unit.
  • Page 6 Before installing the hinges, check the fridge/freezer installation manual to see if hinges are required to be fitted to the cabinet or fridge. If hinges are to be fitted onto the fridge, then you follow the installation manual. If hinges are to be fitted onto the cabinet, then follow the instructions below. Attaching the frontal The frontal should be re-attached to the unit by clipping the hinges onto the hinge plates.
  • Page 7 Cleaning the unit Finally, the unit should be thoroughly cleaned to remove any debris that may have accumulated during the installation. The fridge will be installed later in the installation journey. The installation manual should be reviewed to determine how the front of the fridge is attached to the frontal, as each manufacturer will be different.

A minimum of two people will be needed to lift the appliance.
  • Page 9 Electrical sockets should not be directly behind the appliaince. If necessary, relocate the socket. Lifting the fridge/freezer into the unit Step 1 - Make sure the appliance is positioned in front of the unit. Then begin by tilting the fridge/freezer forward so the back legs rest on the front edge of the bottom of the unit.
  • Page 10 Securing the fridge/freezer to the top shelf Using the screws provided with the appliance, attach the fridge to the underside of the top shelf in the unit. Please review the appliance installation manual for the correct screw placement as each fridge may be different. This will firmly secure the fridge in place.
  • Page 11 Some fridges/freezers come with a door restrictor pin. If your appliance includes one, please follow the steps below. The door restrictor pin is essential to prevent the fridge/freezer door from opening too wide, which can cause damage to surrounding cabinets, walls, or the fridge itself. It also helps maintain the alignment and longevity of the door hinges.
