Personalizing Entries

A Phone entry should have at least a name and a phone number or Email address.
Personalizing an entry may be done from the Add new screen when adding a new entry or from
the Edit record screen when changing existing information. Personalizing an entry may include:
Home, work, mobile, and 2 other numbers
l
2 Email addresses
l
2 personal information
l
Allocate an entry to a group
l
Remove an entry from a group
l
The number of entry characters allowed in the field is:
Name field
l
Phone Number fields
l
Email fields
l
Information fields
l

Adding/Editing Phone Numbers

Highlight the preferred phone number type field.
Input the first digit of the phone number to display the number entry screen.
Input the rest of the phone number and press Select to return to the previous screen.

Adding/Editing Name, Email and Info

Highlight the preferred name, Email, or Info field.
Input the first letter to display the text editor screen.
Input the information for the selected field and press Select to return to the previous
screen.
When finished adding/editing fields, press Softkey 1 (OK) to return to the screen where you
started the add/edit process.
Add a voice tag (to 10 Phone entries only)

Allocate one of twelve LED colors
l
Allocate a phonebook picture
l
Allocate a ring tune
l
Allocate a location number
l

40 characters (+ and P are a character space)
64 characters

Refer to page 124 to
remove an entry from a
Group.
+ is used for International
call access.
Press and HOLD #
(Number symbol) key
during number entry to
create a pause (P).
If a field already has a
number or information
press CLR to remove
unwanted numbers or
letters.
Refer to page 116 for
instructions to obtain the
Edit screen for an entry.
