Setting Time Zone

To set up the time zone:
*
Press MENU (Main), 1, 1, 5, and 6 to display the Set timezone screen.
Scroll and highlight the preferred time zone.
As each time zone is highlighted, the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) offset for the
highlighted time zone displays in the colored bar near the bottom of the screen. If the
highlighted time zone has daylight savings, "Daylight savings" displays under the GMT
offset time. The GMT is the number of hours behind (-) or ahead (+) of Greenwich Mean
Time (e.g., Dallas, Texas is in the Central Standard Time zone with the GMT minus 6
hours).
To use Daylight savings, press Select and a checkmark is placed in the box.
Press Softkey 1 (OK) to save the highlighted time zone setting.

Setting Language

If the display is showing any language other than your own, proceed as follows:

Press MENU (Main), 1, 1, and 6 to display the Language screen.
Press the appropriate key to select the desired language.
The phone supports the languages listed on the Language screen and the keyboard symbols
have been chosen for world-wide operation.

LED Settings

You can set the LED illumination color for incoming calls, incoming messages, and during a call.

Press MENU (Main), 1, 1, and 7 to display the LED menu.
Press 1 to set the LED color for incoming calls, 2 for incoming messages, and 3 for during a
call.
Highlight the desired color and press Softkey 1 (SELECT).
A check mark in the check
box means that the
daylight savings time is
activated.
When the you select the
Daylight savings time box,
the GMT offset is
adjusted.
You must press
SOFTKEY 1 (OK) to save
your time zone settings.
Pressing SELECT only
affects the Daylight
savings function.
The time zone and
daylight savings time are
automatically selected
when you enable the
Network time setting.
When you highlight a
color scheme, the
corresponding color
properties display.
