Recording the Video

*
Activate the video function.
Look at the video viewfinder screen and adjust the camera position.
Press Select or Side Up button to start recording. A tone sounds at the start of recording.
The progress bar and a timer shows the number of seconds of the recording.
Move the video camera to capture the preferred scenes.
Press Select or Side Up button, or close the phone flip to stop recording at any time or wait
until the allowed video file size is reached and the recording automatically stops.
Press Softkey 1 (Play) to play and view the recorded video.
Press the Right navigation key before/while playing a recorded video to enlarge the replay
screen size. Press the Left navigation key to return to normal screen size.

Saving a Video

After recording a video and viewing it,

Press Select to save it as a 3GPP file in the My movies folder of Videos in Audio and
Visual.
The default name for the video is the date and time (ddmmyy-hhmmss) using the date and time
settings of your phone.

Discarding a Video

If you are not satisfied with the video recorded,

Press CLR to display the decision screen, "File is not saved. Discard Video data?"
Press Softkey 1 (OK) to discard the view.
Go to the Audio and Visual of the Main Menu to delete saved videos in the My Movies folder.

Using the Light

With the video activated, press Softkey 1 (Light) to turn the light on or off.
While recording, be
careful not to cover the
mouthpiece of your phone
as it is used as the
microphone to record
sound along with the
video.
Take care not to hold the
light too close to people's
eyes when the light is on.
If a call is received while
you are checking or
saving a video, video
storage is cancelled.
When this occurs, the
next time you select the
video function a message
appears to say that you
have a video that was not
stored allowing you to
check and store the video.
Before recording a video,
you may switch to the
camera function by
pressing Softkey 2
(Camera). This use of
Softkey 2, however, is
invalid if the self-timer
function is activated.
