T9 Text Language; Text Edit Setting - NEC 535 Manual

Press Softkey 1 (Preview) to view the object. Press CLR (Clear/Back) or Softkey 2
(Stop/Cancel) end viewing and return to the previous list screen.
With the object highlighted in the list screen, press Select to return to the text editor screen
and the object is inserted.
In the Preview screen for sounds, pictures, animations, and pictographs, press Select or
Softkey 1 (Insert) to return to the text editor screen and the object is inserted.
At the Emoticon selection, highlight the row and press the corresponding number on the
column of the desired Emoticon.
To add, edit, delete or restore canned or user text, begin at the text editor screen and:

Press MENU (Options Menu), 6, 1, and either Canned or User to display the Text list
screen.
Canned Text:
Highlight the canned text item to edit or delete.
Press MENU (Options Menu) to display the Canned menu.
Highlight the desired canned text and press Select.
User Text
Highlight the canned text item to edit or delete.
Select MENU, 9 (Save to text file),
Select the desired folder in which to save your text (Canned, User, or an appropriate
subfolder).

T9 Text Language

Press MENU (Options Menu) and 7 to display the T9 language screen.
Press the appropriate number of the desired language.

Text Edit Setting

Press MENU (Options Menu) and 8 to display the Edit Settings screen.
Press 1 for Write mode and 2 for Clear mode.
Press the appropriate number for the desired option.
