Setting up your Contacts

This section describes how to work with contacts.
Press the "MENU" key
select "Contacts" icon

Contact Entries

Up to 500 entries can be registered from the phone Contact list. Up to 254 entries can be read from the USIM contact list,
depending on your USIM card (please ask 3 for details).
The maximum number of contacts in the e228 is affected by the number of fields used in each contact entry.
The following shows the data that you can enter under a name in the Contact list:

Contact group
Phone

Email

(32 single-byte characters max.)
(32 single-byte characters max.)
One image file
Choose from 16 groups
Up to four phone numbers (36
digits max. for each)
Up to 37 digits can be entered per
phone number when it includes
the international code "+".
Up to 3 email addresses
Note: Though an email address
can contain up to 90
single-byte characters
when you register the
Contact entry, it is limited
to 31 single-byte
characters when you send
video calls.
One homepage address (256
single-byte characters max).
