Allocate a Phonebook Picture

To allocate a picture/graphic to display when the person of the phone entry calls your phone,
*
Highlight and select the Picture field to display the CLI Picture menu.
Press 1 to display the Picture menu.
Select one of the Picture menu options (Download, Photo, or Preset) to display the
corresponding list of graphics.
To preview a graphic, highlight the graphic and press Softkey 1 (Preview).
Press Softkey 1 (Select) to allocate the graphic to the entry and return to the add/edit
screen or press Softkey 2 (Back) to return to the picture list.
Press CLR to return to the Picture menu to select another list of graphics.
If you know what the graphic is, highlight and select the preferred graphic and return to the
add/edit screen.
Remove a Picture
To remove an allocated picture/graphic from an entry,

Highlight and select the Picture field to display the CLI Picture menu.
Press 2 and return to the add/edit screen with "Picture none" displayed in the Picture field.
You can only allocate pictures less than or equal to 850 x 1200 to the phonebook. This
does not apply to JPEG-formatted pictures.

Allocate a Ring Tune

To allocate a ring tune or sound to play when the person of the phone entry calls your phone,

Highlight and select the Melody field to display the Melody menu.
Press 1 to display the Sound menu.
Select one of the Sound menu options (Download, Preset, or Voice memo) to display the
corresponding list of sounds.
To preview a sound, highlight the sound and press Softkey 1 (Preview).
Press Softkey 1 (Select) to allocate the sound to the entry and return to the add/edit screen
or press Softkey 2 (Stop) to return to the picture list.

Press CLR to return to the Sound menu to select another list of sounds.
The caller id picture
displays on the Main LCD
when the flip is open. It
displays on the 2nd-LCD
when the flip is closed.
To download a
picture/graphic from your
computer to the NEC
website and add it to your
wireless phone to allocate
the picture/graphic to a
phone entry, follow the
instructions provided at
the NEC website.
