Cutting

• Never place any part of body near cutting rotor deck or lean on the rotor deck
while engine is running. It result in serious injury if drive clutch lever engaged
unexpectedly.
• Never operate this machine without installing safety covers. Do not modify
covers to be opened while in operation. It may result in serious inrujury by
cutting blades or throwing objects.
• Remove dry grass or flammable materials around muffler and engine to prevent
fire or overheating.
• This machine may throw objects during cutting operation. Remove rocks,
stones and debris in the work area to prevent them from being thrown off.
• Scan around the areas surrounding the work site before operationg this
machine. Seal off the work site with rope if necessary.
• In the work area with many objects that are likely to be thrown off, set the
cutting height high to minimize the chance of those objects from being thrown
off.
• Prepare beforehand the working rules and procedures such as signaling and
trafic control for the work place. Do not let bystanders (especially children) to
come within a 10 m radius around the machine.
• Never operate machine on a slope steeper than 15 degrees. Avoid terrain that is
so rough, slippery or loose that you feel like you could tip over.
• Always stop engine and check if cutting rotor is stopped when removing
foreign object from cutting blades.
