Engine Oil

• Dispose of the drained oil properly.
• Make certain to fill engine with correct grade of oil to the specified level.
Insufficient amount or wrong grade of oil reduces performance and may cause
permanent damage to engine.
NOTE
• To obtain correct reading, check oil level before starting, or wait about 10 minutes
after stopping engine to allow oil to drain back to oil pan.
• Always check oil level on a level surface.
• Do not screw in the oil filler cap when inspecting oil amount.
• Do not let oil level beyond Lower limit, it may cause sticking on engine.
• Change oil after 5 hours use for the first time. Chante oil every 50 hours of use
afterward. It is recommended that change oil eariler than 50 hours when machine
is used for long time in the rugged environments such as with heavily loaded or in
high temprature.

Inspecting
1. Park machine on a level surface.
NOTE
• Adjust mower cutting height so that engine
is level.
2. Remove oil filler cap and wipe oil level
gauge.
3. Insert oil filler cap again to check the amount
of oil. Make sure the oil level is between the
upper and lower levels. If oil level is low, fill
up to the upper limit.
4. Screw filler cap in.
