The following operations must not be car-
ried out when the engine and the exhaust
system are still warm in order to avoid the
risk of burns.
Carry out the following operations:
Completely deflate the tyre.
Remove the silencer, loosening the fastening

screws (1 - Fig. 33) on the engine and on the cylin-
der (2 -Fig. 33) avoiding damaging the silencer gas-
ket.
Unscrew the wheel nut (1 - Fig. 34).
Slip off the wheel.
To put it back, slightly tighten the nut (1 - Fig. 34),
brake with the rear brake lever and simultanously
fasten with a 9.5 kgm dynamometric key.
Carry out the other operations in the opposite direc-
tion.
We suggest to change the specific fastening
nut (1-Fig.34) with a new one after every
removal.
