Remember:
1 mile = 1.6 km
1 km = 0.625 miles
To check the transmission oil level, carry out the fol-
lowing operations every 3000 km or every 6 months:
DO NOT DISPOSE OF OIL IN THE ENVIRONMENT
‹
Drive for a few kilometres, until reaching the normal
running temperature, then stop the engine.
‹
Position the vehicle on the central stand.
‹
Position a graduated container with minimum 120

cm capacity under the drain plug (1).
‹
Unscrew the filling cap (2) and the oil drain plug (1).
‹
Let all the oil flow out of the oil pan, measure the
quantity and if it is less than 110 cm
adding the lacking quantity.
‹
Tighten the drain plug and provide for topping up.
‹
Tighten the filling cap.
Tighten the filling cap and the drain plug
thoroughly and make sure that there are no
oil leakages.
