6-2. ABSOCODER Sensor Installation Conditions and Precautions
The installation conditions and precautions for ABSOCODER sensor are described in this section.
(1) Do not apply excessive forces to the cable port, and avoid
damaging the cable.
(2) The part of a machine mounted the sensor rod must travel in
the same direction as the sensor rod extends and contracts.
Do not use a floating joint.
(3) When the cable port is exposed, a shielding plate should be
installed as shown in the right figure.
