Adjusts the output level of the transmitter's drive
stage. Activates in CW, RTTY; and in SSB mode
with [COMP] ON.

FUNCTION
The AGC controls receiver gain to produce a constant
audio output level even when the received signal
strength is varied by fading, etc. Rotate [AGC] max.

depending on the receiving condition. [AGC] control
does not function in FM mode.

P-set mode, adjusts the received or monitored
CW audio tone without changing the displayed
frequency. (pgs. 29, 43)
- The squelch cannot be closed in this case.
