e Programming the keying speed
While the memory keyer is activated, pushing [4], [5]
or [6] transmits memory contents 1, 2 or 3 at the
programmed speed, respectively.
Each key memo-
rizes the [KEY SPEED] setting independently.
@ Activate the memory keyer.
- "—"
blinks.
@ Push [4], [5] or [6] for 2 sec. to program the [KEY
SPEED] setting into keys 4, 5 or 6, respectively.
- 3 beeps may sound.
ll Repeater operation
A repeater amplifies received signals and retrans-
mits them at a different frequency.
When using a
repeater, the transmit frequency is shifted from the
receive frequency by an offset frequency.
A re-
peater can be accessed using split frequency opera-
tion with the shift frequency set to the repeater's
offset frequency.
