17.5. The auto-switch does not work
If you use the auto switch mode  BASIC, in the DISPLAY menu then
the automatic change threshold in the DEFINITION P4 menu (chap 7.1.4): Auto change
threshold must be adapted. It is set by default to 0.1mm. This value is sometimes too
low, especially in the case of measurement with air gages.
17.6. The M1/M3 screen blurs or freeze when I connect the communication
cable
There are 2 similar RS232 cables.
- The 45160 is used for communication to a PC or PLC.
- The 18060 allows you to update the device.
If a 18060 cable is connected to the M1/M3, the screen might blur.
17.7. I do not acheive to detect the M-BUS modules
An MBUS cable (81213-1.5 supplied with the M1/M3) must be used to connect the
modules to the M1/M3.
17.8. I'VE LOST MY PASSWORD
Initialization of the display must be done. See chap.15
With the RS232 command "PASS" it is possible to change the password.
