Upgrading the OSM Memory

Removing the SODIMM

Hazardous voltage or energy is present on the backplane when the system is operating. Use caution
Warning
when servicing.
To remove the existing SODIMM, follow these steps:
Step 1
Make sure you take the necessary precautions to prevent ESD damage.
Step 2
Remove the OSM from the system. (See the
page 3-13
Step 3
Place the OSM on an antistatic mat or pad.
Step 4
Locate the SODIMM. (See
Figure C-1

Release the spring clips from the SODIMM that you want to remove, and release the SODIMM from the
