Replacing the Light Bulbs

Light bulb replacement is considered to be a homeowner maintenance operation.
NOTE: If the lights do not work, before replacing them, please consult the Problem Solution Guide on
page 59.
WARNING: To prevent electrical shock and/or personal injury, make certain that the oven and light
bulb(s) are cool and that power to the oven has been turned off at the main power supply before replac-
ing the light bulb(s).
WARNING: Always ensure that the lens cover is in place when using the oven. The lens cover protects
the bulbs from breakage that can be caused by high temperatures or being bumped.
To Replace the Light Bulb(s), Follow These Steps:
NOTE: Do not touch the halogen light bulbs with your fingers. Halogen light bulbs are sensitive to the
oils from your hand. The oils from your hand will stick to the bulb and cause it to burn out faster than
normal. Use a glove when handling them.
Turn off power to the oven at the main power supply.
Each light assembly consists of a light fixture housing, a removable lens cover, and a 12 Volt halogen
light bulb. See page 7 for the location of the light fixtures.
Gently insert the pointed end of the supplied pry stick under the center edge of the lens cover on the
side facing the oven door. Hold your hand under the lens for support, then pry out, pulling the lens
cover straight out.
IMPORTANT: Use the pry stick with caution. Do not cause uneven stress on the lens cover.
