Reset Modes Summary
Mode Activation
Press and hold down the R button
until all front panel LEDs and the
reset LED blink two times (at 3
seconds), then two times again (at
6 seconds) to confirm the reset.
Then, press Reset again
momentarily (less than 1 second).
Press and hold down the R button
until all front panel LEDs and the
reset LED blink two times at 3
seconds, two more times at 6
seconds, then two more times at 9
seconds to confirm the reset. Then,
press R again momentarily (less
than 1 second).

Troubleshooting

If the SW USB Pro detects a non-standard keyboard or mouse, an error condition may occur in which the Exec
Mode LED blinks and the SW USB Pro reboots in a repeating cycle. If this happens, and rebooting does not
resolve the issue, disable host emulation and then wait for the switcher to reboot. You will not be able to use host
emulation with that keyboard or mouse.

Updating Firmware

Extron periodically updates product firmware in conjunction with the release of new software revisions. Before
updating any Extron product to the latest revision level, be sure to read the supplied release notes or contact
Extron Technical Support to determine if your product requires a firmware update.
To find out what version of firmware is currently loaded on the switcher, enter the SIS Q command via the RS-232
interface, Ethernet over USB, or Ethernet via the LAN port (see
also check it using PCS (see the SW USB Pro Help File) or Toolbelt (see the Toolbelt Help File).
New firmware versions for the SW USB Pro can be downloaded from the Extron website (see

IP and Telnet settings revert to factory
defaults.
