NOTE: The initial factory configured passwords for all accounts on this device have been set to the
device serial number. Passwords are case sensitive. In the event of an absolute system reset, the
passwords are reset to extron.

Use a straight-through cable for connection to a switch, hub, or router.

Use a crossover cable or a straight-through cable for connection directly to a PC. Wire the connector
as shown in figure 6.

Reset (R) button and LED — This recessed button initiates levels (modes) of reset on the SW USB Pro. To
I
initiate the different reset levels, use a pointed object such as a small Philips screwdriver or a stylus to press
and hold the button while the switcher is running or while it is being powered up (see
for details).
While the Reset button is being pressed and held, the green LED to the left of the button blinks a varying
number of times to indicate the current reset level.
