SCAN OPERATION

Memory scan

The Memory scan searches signals on the
preregistered memory channels�
ALL:
Repeatedly scans all memory channels�
Memory Groups (00 ~ 99, A: Auto MW CH and S: Skip CH)
Scan
00 01 02 03 98
Empty groups are skipped
Current Group:
Scans the memory channels that are entered in the
same group that is currently selected�
Example: Scanning the selected Memory Group 00
Scan
00 01 02 03
Empty channels are skipped
Category/Group:
Scans the memory groups in the selected Category�
Example: Scanning the Memory Group 00 in the Airband
category
Scan

Empty channels are skipped
Group Link:
Sequentially scans the memory groups that are set to
Link on the MENU screen�
Memory Groups (00 ~ 99)
Scan
00 01 02 97
Unchecked groups are skipped
L At least 2 groups must be checked to start a Group Link
scan� ([MENU] > SET > Scan > Group Link)

Sequentially searches through all Favorite memory
channels�

DSetting the Group Link

You can sequentially scan the memory groups that are
set to Link on the MENU screen�
L In the default setting, all groups are set to Link�
[MENU] > SET > Scan > Group Link
1� Push [MENU]�
2� Select "Scan" in the "SET" menu�
3� Select "Group Link�"
4� Select a Group Link�
5� Select a group, "00" ~ "99�"
6� Push [ENT] to turn the Link function ON or OFF�
• " " is displayed when the function is set to "ON�"
L Push [QUICK] to quickly turn all the groups ON or
OFF�
L To exit the MENU screen, push [MENU]�
