RECORDER FUNCTION

[MENU] > RECORD > <<REC Start>>
After selecting "<<REC Start>>," the recording starts.
• "Recording started�" is displayed�
L Information
• BE SURE to insert a microSD card�
• While recording, "<<REC Stop>>" is displayed on the
RECORDER screen� To stop recording, select "<<REC
Stop>>."
• Once recording has started, the recording will continue,
even if the receiver is turned OFF and then ON again�
Play Files
[MENU] > RECORD > Play Files
Displays saved audio data folders�
L BE SURE to insert a microSD card�
Playing back:
1� Select a folder that contains the file you want to
playback�
2� Select a file to playback�
• The VOICE PLAYER screen is displayed and starts
playing back the audio�
L See page 6-3 for details�
3� Push [MENU] to exit the VOICE PLAYER screen.
NOTE:
• The folder is automatically named, as shown below:

* "A" stands for A band�
• The audio is recorded onto a microSD card and saved
in the "wav" format� ("�wav" is not displayed on the

RX REC Condition
[MENU] > RECORD > Recorder Set >
RX REC Condition
Selects whether or not the squelch status affects the
received audio recording�
• Always:
The receiver always records the
received audio regardless of the
squelch status�
• Squelch Auto: The receiver records the audio
only when a signal is received
(the squelch is opened)� When the
squelch closes while recording, the
recording will continue for 2 seconds
and then pause�
File Split
[MENU] > RECORD > Recorder Set > File Split
Turns the File Split function ON or OFF�
• OFF: Once a recording starts, the receiver
continues to record on the same file�
L If the file size exceeds 4 GB, a new file is
automatically created in the same folder, and the
audio is recorded there�
• ON: During recording, if reception or squelch
status* (open and close) is changed, a new
file is automatically created in the same folder,
and the audio is saved into a new file�
* Only when "REC Condition" is set to
"Squelch Auto�"
REC Operation
[MENU] > RECORD > Recorder Set > REC Operation
Select the recording operation on the dual band display�
• A/B Separate: The recording function is separately
active/inactive on the selected band
(MAIN band) when the function is
started or stopped�
• A/B Link:
L On the single band display, only the
Skip Time
[MENU] > RECORD > Player Set > Skip Time
Set the Skip Timer to 3, 5, 10, or 30 seconds to rewind
or skip forward for this set period of time when you
push the fast-rewind or fast-forward key while playing
the recorded audio�

forwarding or rewinding� (p� 6-3)
