MEMORY OPERATION

General description

The Memory mode enables you to quickly select
often-used frequencies, modes, and other parameters�
While operating in the Memory mode, you can
temporarily change the operating frequency, mode,
and so on without overwriting the memory channel
contents�

DMemory channel content

The following information can be entered into the
Memory channels:
• Name
• Operating frequency
• Tuning step
• Operating mode
• Duplex direction (DUP+/DUP–)
• Frequency offset
• Scan skip setting
• AF filter
• Favorite
• Subaudible tone encoder, tone squelch, or DTCS squelch
ON/OFF*
• Subaudible tone frequency, tone squelch frequency, or
DTCS code with polarity*
• VSC*
* For only FM/FM-N�
NOTE: Memory content may be accidentally
cleared by static electricity, electric transients,
and other causes� In addition, it may be cleared
by a malfunction or during repairs� Therefore, we
recommend that you backup the Memory content or
save it onto a microSD card* or a PC�
*User supplied
L The CS-R15 programming software can also be
used to backup your memory content� See its instruction
manual for details�
