SCAN OPERATION
VFO Scan

DAbout the Program Link Scan

This item sets the Link function for 2 or more
Program Scan ranges to sequentially scan during a
Program Link scan� The Program Link scan scans all
frequencies in the scan ranges�
Example settings of the Program Link:

1 ：
Blank
9 ：
Program Link number (0 to 9)
L Information
• The Program Link Number screen displays the frequency
range�
• You can add a Link setting by pushing [QUICK] when 2
or more Program Scan ranges (Program Scan Edge) are
entered�
• When there is no Program Scan range (P00 ~ P24)
entered, "Add" is not displayed after pushing [QUICK]�

DSetting the Program Link function

[MENU] > SET > Scan > Program Link
1� Push [MENU]�
2� Select "Scan" in the "SET" menu�
3� Select "Program Link�"
4� Select a Program Link number "0" ~ "9�"
• The Program Link Number screen displays the
preregistered Program Scan ranges�
L When no Program Scan range is selected, "– Blank –"
is displayed�
5� Push [QUICK]�
6� Select "Add�"
7� Select the Program Scan range that you want to add�
8� Repeat steps 6 and 7 until all Program scan
ranges that you want are added�
9� Push [ENT] to save the Program Link�
L To exit the MENU screen, push [MENU]�
TIP:
• To edit the name of the Program Link, push [QUICK]
and select "Edit Name" in step 4 above�
• To delete the registered Program Scan range from the
Program Link, select "Delete" in step 6 above�
