Hold the top of the adapter and pull it firmly out of
the expansion slot.

Check the switch settings on the adapter being
removed. If the switches were not set correctly, the
adapter being removed would not have worked
correctly. If the switches were set correctly, set the
switches on the replacement adapter in the same
way. See Chapter 4 for instructions on setting the
switches.
