4. Tilt the outboard motor up all the
way. Leave the outboard motor
tilted up until the gasoline stops
flowing.
5. After thoroughly draining, tighten
the drain screw securely and return
the outboard motor to the vertical
position.
6. Clamp the drain hose on the clamp.
7. Drain the fuel tank into an
approved gasoline container, or if
you need to store fuel in the fuel
tank, you can extend fuel storage
life by filling the fuel tank with
fresh gasoline and adding Honda
Marine fuel stabilizer or equivalent
following the directions on the
container.

Engine Oil
1. Change the engine oil and the oil
filter (p. 99 – 103).
2. Remove the spark plugs (p. 106),
and remove the emergency stop
switch clip from the emergency
stop switch.
3. Pour 1 – 2 teaspoons (5 – 10 cm
(p. 138) of clean engine oil into
each cylinder.
4. Rotate the engine a few revolutions
to distribute the oil in the cylinders.
5. Reinstall the spark plugs (p. 107).
