Skip the following section and proceed to "Recording the Host Adapter Prefix"
later in this chapter.
Removing the Tape Driver
Custom informs you that it is not necessary to rebuild the UNIX kernel immedi-
ately after removing the cartridge tape driver.
After the removal of the Cartridge Tape driver, you will
be prompted to relink the kernel to reflect the changes
made to the driver.
You should choose NOT to relink the
kernel at this time as you will be prompted to do so
again at the end of the ASW-1250 installation to reflect
the addition of the ASW-1250 driver.
