Use the following form to record the configuration choices you make. You need
to know this information when you install the ASW-1250 software.

If You Need to Change Settings
After you have chosen the appropriate ASW-1250 software and the AHA-1520/
1522 host adapter configuration, you might need to change the jumper settings
on the board to reflect your choices. If you think you need to change the jumper
settings, see Chapter 3, "Changing Jumper Settings," for information.
PREPARATION FOR INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE
When you are sure that the jumpers on the host adapter are set properly, you can

install the ASW-1250 software. Installing the software reconfigures the SCO UNIX
operating system to reflect the presence of the host adapter. The SCO Extended
Utilities package and (for SCO UNIX 3.2v0 only) the SCO UFA Maintenance
Supplement must be installed in your operating system.
Installing the software is fast and simple. There are two major steps to the soft-
ware installation:
1. Using Custom, an SCO UNIX utility, to install and configure the
ASW-1250 software
