Software for SCO UNIX
If you need to reboot your system with this copy of the kernel, enter the following
at the boot prompt:
/unix.prel250
Installing the Extended Utilities Packages
Make sure that the Link Kit package contained in the SCO Extended Utilities is
installed in your operating system before you install the ASW-1250 software.
You cannot successfully install and configure the ASW-1250 software without the
Link Kit package. If this portion of the Extended Utilities package is not in your
operating system, consult the SCO documentation for information on installing it.
Note: Users of SCO UNIX 3.2v0 must also make sure that the UFA Maintenance
supplement is installed. The entire Extended Utilities rm.ckage must be installed
before you can install the UFA Maintenance supplement. Custom reminds you
of this requirement when you begin installing the software.
USING CUSTOM TO INSTALL THE ASW-1250 SOFTWARE
Custom is an SCO UNIX utility that you use to install the ASW-1250 software.
Custom interacts with you, asking questions about the software and hardware
configuration of your system. See the SCO UNIX system administration docu-
mentation for more information about Custom.
To install the ASW-1250 software, follow the instructions below.
