Screen Legibility While Using AFDISK
Occasionally, especially if you use a laptop computer or monochrome VGA, you
may find
it
difficult to read the text on the screen when you run AFDISK. You
can fix this problem by putting your computer into monochrome mode. To do so,
use the following DOS command:
MODE BW80
If
you want to return to color mode, use the following DOS command:
MODE COBO
UNDERSTANDING AND RESOLVING ERRORS
This section lists and explains the error messages that your system can display
when you boot it after adding the ASPI2DOS and ASPIDISK commands to the
CONFIG.SYS file.

Line /P Option
Failed to
initialize

AHA-1520/1522
Meaning
You used an invalid number with /P. Only
/Pl40 and /P340 are valid.
The driver failed to initialize the host adapter.
Make sure there are no hardware conflicts with
other equipment, the host adapter's jumpers are
correctly set, and the host adapter is properly
installed.
