Information Checklist
Before starting the NetWare installation procedures, please ensure the following items are
available or have been performed:
An existing operational NetWare network is required, these
procedures are not designed to install a NetWare network.
NetWare client, server and operating system software version 4.x, 5.x
and 6.x.
Install the printer drivers on each workstation that will use the printer.
Ensure LPR is enabled on the WorkCentre 4118.
Refer to "Enabling/Disabling LPR/LPD" on page 6-3 for configuration
instructions.
Test the WorkCentre 4118 to ensure it is installed fully and functioning
correctly.
WorkCentre 4118 print and fax drivers.
Xerox NDPS Gateway.
If problems are encountered during the WorkCentre 4118 installation, refer to the Problem
Solving chapter for assistance.
