3. Lower the top tube until there is one hand width from the bottom of the tube and lock the
lower clamp. See Section 7.5 to check that the clamps are sufficiently tight.

Install Carriage
4. After the tripod and the top tube have been installed, slide the carriage assembly onto
the top tube. Ensure that the pigtails are in the front and the eyelet is up and in the back.
