Cleaning and maintenance
Safety measures
NOTE
Before cleaning or service work, disconnect the system from the power and ensure it cannot
be switched back on. Deactivate all fuses to which the charging station is connected.
Risk of electrocution
Touching live parts may cause electric shock or death.
Turn off all power supply to the unit before cleaning charging cables. Secure the charging
station against restart.
The charging station is switched off via the load breaker switch. Activation is not possible in
the charging station. De-energize the supply line.
Risk of electrocution
Do not use steam jets or water jets for cleaning, as they may cause moisture to infiltrate the
charging station. Moisture inside the charging station poses a risk of electric shock.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper cleaning methods.
Cleaning guidelines
• Do not use solvents or corrosive or abrasive detergents.
• Use a mild, non-corrosive cleaning agent, e.g. dishwashing detergent, even if heavily
soiled.
• Wipe the charging station from the outside with a moist cloth and rub the station dry.
• Clean the display using glass detergents. Use only soft cleaning cloths.
• Deionized water is particularly suitable for cleaning the unit.
• Do not scrape off stubborn dirt using hard objects.
• Do not use any sharp-edged tools.
• Soften paper stickers in advance for easy removal.
• Make sure that water does not get underneath the cover of charging sockets or into air
slots.
