Safety instructions for transport and assembly
Electric shock when voltage is applied
Before beginning transport and assembly work, ensure that the electrical supply cable is de-energized and
secured against reconnection. Live cables can cause serious physical injury or death.
Cranes and hoists
Lifted loads may fall down in the event that lifting equipment or cranes fail. Do not stay in the danger zone
under or next to lifted loads. Falling loads can cause serious head injuries or death. Secure the assembly
area and prevent unauthorized persons from entering by erecting warning signs and barriers.
Improper transport
If transported improperly, the device may tip over. Pay attention to the center of gravity and secure the
device during transport. If the device tips over, this can result in serious physical injury or death.
Electric shock due to penetrating moisture
Install the device at a location that is safe from flooding. Protect all parts from moisture when working on
the device.
Risk of crushing or cuts
During assembly, look out for sharp-edged parts and protruding threaded bolts.
The spring-loaded cable management system is constantly under spring tension.

Safety instructions for electrical installation

Dangerous voltage. Risk of death or serious injury.
Work on the electrical installation may only be performed by skilled electricians or by electrically trained
persons under the direction and supervision of a skilled electrician De-energize the electrical supply cable
before starting work. Observe the five safety rules for electrical work according to EN 50110-1.
Wait 10 minutes before opening the control cabinet.
After the power supply is switched off, voltages dangerous to touch capable of causing electric shock may
still be present due to the capacitors used. There is also a risk of burns from copper busbars and copper
conductors due to hot surfaces in the area of the converter. Therefore, after switching off the power
supply, wait 10 minutes before opening the control cabinet to allow the capacitors to discharge and the
surfaces to cool down.
Proper connection of cables
Check all cable connections at regular intervals. Loose cable connections can cause dangerous voltages to
be present on the cabinet or exposed components, which can result in serious bodily injury or death.
Tighten the cable connections to the specified tightening torque and then mark the connections with
locking paint.

Safety instructions for maintenance and cleaning

Electric shock from live parts
During operation, parts in the device are live. If the system has not been disconnected from the power
supply before interior maintenance work is performed, death, serious injury or damage to property may
occur. De-energize the electrical supply cable before performing maintenance work. Observe the five
safety rules for electrical work according to EN 50110-1.
Electric shock due to penetrating moisture
Never clean the device with a high-pressure cleaner, steam jet device or strong water jet, as moisture can
penetrate inside the device. Dangerous voltages may be present on the cabinet due to moisture, which can
lead to serious injury or death.
Electric shock due to condensation
After maintenance and cleaning has been completed - but before the device is put into operation - a
qualified electrician must check for the presence of any moisture in the device. Even small amounts of
condensation must be removed before a return to operation. Take appropriate measures for drying.
Danger of crushing, strangulation and rapid coiling
The cable management system retracts the cable with pretensioned spring force. Do not wrap the cable
around any part of your body and take care to avoid being crushed. If the cable is damaged and breaks,
whipping of the cable due to the rapid coiling can cause injuries.
