8.1

Storage and transport

Observe the following general conditions when storing and transporting the charging station:
• The permissible storage temperature of the charging station is -40 to +60 °C.
• The permissible air humidity is 5 to 98%, no condensation.
• The charging station may only be transported in the transport packaging provided for this
purpose using the supplied safety and shock-absorbing materials.
• To transport the charging station, disconnect all external cable connections.
Set switches of the fuses to the "Off" position.
Close any transport locks on the cover.
• Avoid shocks and impacts during transport.

Cleaning and maintenance

Safety measures
Note
Before cleaning or service work, disconnect the system from the power and ensure it cannot
be switched back on. To do this, deactivate at least all fuses to which the charging station is
connected.
Risk of electrocution
Touching live parts may cause electric shock or death.
Turn off all power supply to the unit before cleaning charging cables. Secure the charging
unit against being switched on again.
Risk of electrocution
Do not use steam jets or water jets for cleaning, as they may cause moisture to infiltrate the
charging station. Moisture inside the charging station poses a risk of electric shock.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper cleaning methods.
