Safety measures during assembly

General information
Charging of electric cars must guarantee high performance over long periods. The installation
and pre-installation of the charging station must comply with the power requirements. To
ensure that these requirements are fulfilled correctly, these installation instructions are
intended for qualified and trained electricians. As a qualified electrician, you are responsible
for safety, not only during installation, but also during subsequent use by the operator and
the end user.
Mount the charging station on concrete foundation. Mounting is possible with:
• Segment anchor rods
• Ground anchors + screws
• Mounting plate with foundation anchor (option B00)
Feed the cables through the base of the charging station.
Risk of electric shock due to exposed electrical connections and components
Before starting the installation work, check that the supply cable has been disconnected
from the mains and secured against restart.
Do not connect the charging station if damage or tampering is visible.
Follow all safety instructions. This will help you avoid hazardous situations that could result
in serious injury or death.
Comply with all national requirements for testing the installation. Only qualified personnel
may install the charging station. The following points described the step-by-step installation
of the charging station. Additional steps may be necessary in your location of use. These
assembly instructions therefore do not claim to be exhaustive.
Foundation
Prepare the foundation according to the "foundation and reinforcement plan" of the
respective installation type.
The "Foundation and reinforcement plan" for your system type can be found in section
Preparation before assembly (Page 34).
Set the foundation according to the planning guidelines. Equip the foundation with electrical
connections.
