NOTE: In the test results, the nomenclature ITM refers to "Intermode". Intermode is
when a Mode A or C Interrogation is tested along with a Mode S Interrogation. See
Appendix A for more details on XPDR Auto Test Results.

Run Encoder Test

To capture altitude results with a faster interrogation rate, expand the A/C Decoder SLS
ribbon, press the RUN button and select LOOP EXPANDED TEST. Press the RUN button
then at the bottom of the screen ensure that the Encoder Test On softkey is in the ON
position. This setting will provide a faster interrogation rate to display the MODE C
Altitude.
