6.3 Description of OSD menu
Description
Note: Menu item "PLL phase
gain" is displayed when "PLL
phase gain adjustment" is acti-
vated.
The value for the PLL phase gain
is set through the XICOR AD con-
verter.
Note: If "PLL phase gain adjust-
ment" is changed from activated
to deactivated, menu item "PLL
phase gain" is hidden and the
phase gain is set to the default
value.
PLL phase gain
Controls the level of phase error
returned to the digital PLL Each
key figure has double the weight
of the previous key figure.
• 0000: (minimum gain)
• 0111: [default]
• 1111: (maximum gain)
If the "PLL phase gain" is set too
low or too high, distorted images
will be displayed.
Setting the best PLL phase gain
The best PLL phase gain can be
obtained with the "Check-11" pixel
on / pixel off image from the
Quantum Data 802R video test
generator.
