22 Phillips head mounting screws
3. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two
encoder mounting screws (22).
4. Pull the encoder off the rotor support (5).
If the encoder is older, like the one below, do not
reinstall it. Order a new encoder (P/N 24U938) to
replace it.

Install the Encoder

1. Place the encoder connector cable (AE) through the
motor housing lower port (AF).
NOTE: The encoder connector is the smaller of the
two connections.

2. Slide the new encoder onto the rotor shaft.
3. Apply a small amount of blue (medium) thread
locker to the two Phillips head mounting screws
